Elevated tees and tight fairways make Rolling Meadows Golf Course enjoyable and challenging. |
Here's what others have to say about us!
A well-maintained course lined with beech trees. - WorldGolf.com
This course has fairways that are tree lined. This course has been consistently rated by "Golf Digest" as one of the best in Kansas. In 1996, "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 6th "Best Public Course" in the state. Tee times are only reserved for weekends and holidays. - TheGolfCourses.net
Wow what a beautiful course, situated in the rolling hills, with lots of water and trees. The course has 4 sets of tees, and we played the white, which were only a few feet from the blues! The fairways are immaculate, and the greens are huge, with lots of undulations and breaks. Don't be decieved by the yardage markers on your approach shot, and take plenty of club, or you will come up short. You also have the potential to loose balls in the water. This course sets up for both hooks and fades, but you need to be in the fairways to score. It really is a beautiful course, and you can't beat the price! - Bob Bieker, Hays
This is a well-kept, pastoral course, that is very affordable (2004 - $12.25 for 18, walking). There is usually little waiting time during the week. The greens have a fair amount of break in them, which makes them somewhat tricky. Two of the par 4s require pin point driving accuracy to avoid overhanging trees on the left and right. Another par 4 (eight) has overhanging trees on the right and water from the left across the front, which shouldn't come into play, but naturally does occassionally. Two par 5s (one and ten) have water and require most players to lay up to avoid disaster. Overall, perhaps the second best course in the area (Colbert Hills has a very high reputation, but I haven't played it). - Robert Engelhardt, Manhattan
Always in good shape. Challenging layout with plenty of green side bunkers. Greens have lots of break in them. Back nine can get windy with not as many trees. - Dave, Kansas City
I have played this course many times, and am very please in which they maintain the course all year round. Being in the Service I first played on post at Fort Riley, but was very upset at the way it was kept up. Again, great golf course! - Steven, Georgia
